There are 37 bridges spanning the River Seine, some quite ordinary, but many, particularly in the heart of Paris, provide a stunning platform from which to film or shoot some of Paris’ most iconic monuments. Shooting on the bridges themselves is subject to a street permit, however, shooting from the banks of the Seine is subject to a permit from the Port Authorities & location fees apply.
Love locks have been removed from almost all the bridges in Paris due to structural damages caused to the bridges by the weight of the locks.
